Through application of material science, some basic physics, many iterations, and a lot of listening this design has proven to be a very solid contributor for many years. The design uses a few strands of large gage solid core 6N copper plated heavily with pure silver. Properly insulated in an air dielectric the conductors are twisted for natural shielding purposes. Both the IEC plug and the 120vac plug are heavily gold plated for corrosion resistance and to help achieve the desired sonic performance. The result is sharp natural imaging, smooth but detailed mids and highs, and solid fast bass. A great performer with all your audio and video components.
